The simple lines of the band and the formality of the Latin translation balance out the romantic nature of the Celtic font and beautiful inscription.

The inscription is paraphrasing this full Shakespearean passage (currently engraved on one of our bangle designs):

It was a medieval tradition , so enduringly charming that these rings were given as a love tokens and betrothal rings until the end of the 17th Century. The tradition from then was largely forgotten . Seeing an original posy ring in London was the enchantment that led to Victoria’s ongoing obsession with incorporating these words of love. It began with her very first tiny silver rings sold at Sydney’s Paddington market in 1992, and led to her first store in the Strand Arcade soon after.
